VASER liposuction of the chin and neck in Anaheim, California

This patient was bothered by some fullness over the chin and neck. Her primary goal was a sharper and more well defined contour to her jawline and neck. We performed VASER submental liposuction (liposuction of the area underneath the chin and along the jawline and neck). This procedure is tailored towards patients in their 20s and 30s who are bothered by fullness in the neck area. It generally takes less than 60 minutes and can be performed awake under local anesthesia or as an add on procedure with most other procedures. We tend to discourage this procedure in patients above the age of 40 as their skin quality makes them a poor candidate for this type of procedure. Patients in their 40s should give strong consideration to an adjunctive skin tightening procedure or facelift procedure. Her results are shown at 1 year post-op and demonstrate a dramatically improved contour to her neck and jawline.
