Tummy Tuck in Yorba Linda, California

This patient was interested in an athletic tummy tuck and liposuction over the waist. She also wanted to repair a small umbilical hernia. Umbilical hernias can be repaired at the same time as a tummy tuck. However, performing this simultaneously with a tummy tuck does place the patient at greater risk for wound healing problems around the belly button and even loss of the belly button. This occurs because some of the tissue in an umbilical hernia can actually push on the umbilical stalk and compromise blood supply. This patient underwent a tummy tuck with hernia repair and liposuction over the waist. Her results demonstrate a toned and athletic abdomen with a low well hidden scar and natural appearing belly button. Her results are shown at 3 months post op.
