This patient was dissatisfied by the appearance of her breasts. She wanted to remove her 500 CC saline implants which were asymmetric and bothersome to her. Over the years, she had also developed a "waterfall deformity"--this occurs when the implants sit higher on the chest and breast tissue "waterfalls" off the implant, creating an unnatural breast shape.
Her breast implants were removed and an auto-augmentation procedure was performed. In order to do this, her own tissue was used to develop an autologous implant and used to enhance her volume and upper pole fullness. Her photos are shown at 6 months post-op and demonstrate a much more natural shape and improved symmetry. Because of the auto-augmentation procedure, here breasts still maintain some upper pole fullness and projection, even after her implants are removed.
