After undergoing breast augmentation with another surgeon, this patient developed a double bubble deformity over her right breast. This occurs when the breast implant migrates below the breast fold, creating a "double bubble." She had undergone two revisions with her original surgeon, including placement of a pig skin acellular dermal matrix, with little to no improvement in the appearance of her breast.
In order to correct this, Dr. Motakef performed a breast augmentation revision with total neosubpectoral pocket dissections to dissect new pockets for her implants. The previous pockets were closed. A GalaFLEX 3DR internal bra was then sewn into place over both breasts to further reinforce this repair. Her results are shown at just 4 weeks post op and demonstrate correction of her double bubble deformity with improved upper pole fullness over both breasts. Implants removed were 380 CC low profile implants. These were replaced with 355 CC silicone moderate plus profile silicone gummy bear implants.
