Clear + Brilliant is designed as a preventive and maintenance facial that can diminish specific signs of aging, textures, and hyperpigmentation. Through a series of safely spaced procedures, a patient can achieve smooth, youthful-looking skin. Dr. Motakef evaluates each patient’s skin condition and medical history to determine if Clear + Brilliant is an appropriate treatment approach for them. Dr. Motakef may recommend alternative treatments for specific skin conditions that are not responsive to or appropriate for Clear + Brilliant treatments.
How to prepare the skin before treatment
To optimize results, patients should participate in a healthy skin care regimen prior to receiving their Clear + Brilliant treatment. Dr. Motakef may recommend a skin care protocol and that patients avoid tanning or excessive sun exposure for 1 – 2 weeks before treatment. Patients may be advised to stop certain medications prior to treatment, including retinol, retinoids, or tretinoin.
How the treatment process works
Patients receive treatments at Motakef Plastic Surgery + Med Spa within the comforts of one of our private treatment rooms, which take approximately 15 – 20 minutes to complete. A topical numbing gel is applied to each treatment area. The Clear + Brilliant laser technology is waved over the treatment area to create microscopic injuries to the skin, which may cause a warming, tingling sensation. Skin care serums are applied directly to the skin, and patients are able to return home after treatment.
Is there any downtime?
Typically, patients require little to no downtime after treatment. Patients may experience some redness and discomfort at each treatment site, which will subside within a couple of days. After 4 – 5 days, the skin will start to crust and flake to make room for new tissue, creating a smoother complexion.
How long will my Clear + Brilliant treatment results last?
